How to Enjoy Ramen When You are alone

Today I went to my favorite Ramen shop called Komen (光麺) at Shinjuku. I sometimes go there because I love this Honebuto Komen (骨太光麺). I know this shop is located in Shibuya and Roppongi too.

Have you ever try ramen in Japan? No? You don't need a cute girl friend for it like French cuisine. Let me tell you how to do it right (It's not a rule but a common way)

1. Open the door and enter the shop.
2. A staff says "hi (Irashai mase!), how many people? (Nanmei sama desu ka?)". You  just say "one (hitori)" when you are alone...
3. He shows the seat. You just follow it.
4. You check a menu and decide what you eat.
5. Ask him and order it.
6. 10-20 minutes later, he carry a ramen and You have it.

(Ramen shop don't like to talk while eating. Please focus on the taste with a silent Samurai feeling)

7. You go to a cash counter, pay the money and leave.

End

Yeah! Honebuto Komen is a rock music! A big impact like three-code-guitar-music!

"The soup is based on Tonkotsu Soup (Pig bone broth soup). Sea food and vegetable paste are used in this soup.[¥780]" from the official site.

Komen, 光麺
Ko, 光,  means "shine"
Men, 麺, means "noodles"

Enjoy Ramen!
